How to tailor your CV to a job description.
Tailoring a CV is not inventing new experience. It is selecting the most relevant evidence and making it easy for the reader to find.
Identify the role signals
Read the description for repeated skills, responsibilities, tools, and outcomes. Those repeated signals usually deserve the most visible evidence.
Map evidence to requirements
For each important requirement, choose one concrete project, role, or achievement from your CV. Remove claims that cannot be supported.
